Within E.ON Exploration & Production based in Stavanger, we are looking for a Reservoir Engineer
Responsibilities:
Primary Purpose of the Job
- Deliver production profiles, reservoir engineering expertise.
- Advise development plans and reservoir management optimisation.
- Co-ordinate subsurface activities between operator and ERN.
Responsibility:
- Member/deputy in Resource Committees
- To provide reservoir engineering expertise to all who require input.
- To produce production profiles for ERN’s assets (currently Njord) when required, including annual planning and reserves reporting.
- To monitor production data and to maximize production and reserves
Qualification:
- MSc/Phd degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).
- Possess the ability to utilize all analytical and numerical techniques when analyzing well data.
- Problem solving capabilities are essential to ensure maximisation of production rates and reserves.
- Ability to apply decision and risk analysis in order to quantify engineering uncertainties.
- Be able to listen and communicate clearly and concisely within a multi-cultural and multi disciplined environment. Be able to have constructive communication with operators technical staff.
- Ability to organise, manage time and prioritise is essential.
