Applications are invited to investigate an important aspect of Carbon Capture and Storage, CCS. You will carry out research with a particular focus on storing CO2 in depleted gas reservoirs and deep saline aquifers, seeking to understand the generic issues of the movement and trapping of CO2 in porous rock. The project will focus on understanding and mathematical modeling of CO2 trapping mechanisms during CO2 injection and storage in underground geological formation. [more]
