Reservoir Engineering Position

Excel Expro was founded in 2006 and we are a start up oil and gas exploration company based in Stavanger, Norway. Our aim is to create a position among oil and gas companies in Norway and abroad by building a varied exploration portfolio. To this end, we are participating in Awards in Predefined Areas and 20th Licensing Rounds in Norway and intend to actively pursue farm-ins and acquisitions. In addition to using conventional exploration techniques, we are developing the use of passive source airborne electromagnetic surveying tools which we hope will significantly reduce risk for petroleum exploration.

Education and experience

The candidate will have a good first degree in a relevant discipline ideally with an MSc. In addition we require some reservoir engineering experience gained in an oil and gas exploration company with a significant exposure to field economics and asset valuations.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate good intrapersonal skills as well as an ability to interact with an international team of varying ages and skill sets. Good communication and presentation skills a must. From our perspective it will be technical strength and a desire to succeed in your chosen profession that will set you apart from the crowd.
