Based: Aberdeen
A leading engineering business specialising in the delivery of technically complex structural and subsea pipeline engineering projects is looking for a Senior Concept FEED Engineer to join a busy team in Aberdeen.
Responsible for front end and conceptual engineering of subsea systems this is a key role within the team. We urgently require an engineer with a very high level of technical ability to act as a lead figure on a number of demanding assignments.
With a demonstrable background in Pipieline / Front End Design preferably for a design consultant or operator, you'll be comfortable operating between different offices to coordinate the design processes and provide technical input.
You will have a BSc/MSc in mechanical, electrical, ocean or other related engineering disciplines and significant experience in the following areas:
- Deepwater
- Functional design
- Specification development
- Manufacturing of Subsea Hardware and offshore installation.
You must also be conversant with project activities, interfacing with other disciplines, teamwork and leadership skills, planning and budgeting and be effective in both oral and written communication.
