Given the nature of our subject we maintain a continued interest in recruiting first class researchers to fill positions at all levels within the Institute. Interested applicants should approach the Principal Investigator leading the research group of relevant interest.

PhD Studentships available to researchers

The Institute welcomes applications for MSc, MPhil and PhD students. In the first instance, to apply, please email your curriculum vitae to the relevant project manager (Principal Investigator).

The following funding awards provide a guide to the available opportunities to study for a research related degree with the Institute.

DANESH SCHOLARSHIP (IPE Internal Award)

Comments	Fees and maintenance must be paid. INDUSTRY FUNDED - Companies from time to time may wish to sponsor a PhD student themselves outwith IPE normal project structure.

OVERSEAS RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP (ORS)

Comments	The university has a number of these available from SFC. IPE bids for one. Fees element must be supported by an RCC/IPE award (IPE pays maintenance and UK-equivalent fees, ORS pays the difference).

Minimum amount for a student’s maintenance award: £12,600 Overseas student fees: £15,400 European student fees: £5,700 UK student fees: £3,900
