POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate applying for this position should have over 20 years of industry experiences and must have broad based knowledge and understanding of oil and gas processing facilities and plant design. Exposure to key Petroleum engineering skills in reservoir, drilling and workover, production and operations engineering are an asset. But the focus is on gas facilities and process engineering. The ideal individual should be an authority in gas processing issues who can provide the organization with input in gas development issues including the ability to conduct feasibility studies on optimum gas handling. The incumbent should be very competent in gas processing. This is essential to conduct in-house studies on gas processing and handling facilities before proposing projects to the capital development program. The individual must be able to modify and/or update studies consistent with changes encountered during the course of field development. The candidate should have leadership skills with an objective to drive for results. This is essential to help lead critical task forces for facility assessments and long term development plans. Incumbent should be a team player with persuasive skills. Candidate should be very flexible, a fast-learner, and able to grasp specifics unfamiliar to previous job knowledge. Incumbent need to be skilled in answering ad-hoc requests that require prompt response without any compromise on quality of product delivered.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Experience: 20 years. Education: BS Engineering. Candidate will provide expert technical advice and guidance in a key specialized area of petroleum engineering. Must have outstanding technical capability.
