Numerical Modelling of CO2 Sequestration

The PhD candidate should have a university degree (Ir, Dipl. Ing, MSc) in civil engineering, computational geoscience, mechanical engineering or computational physics. The candidate we seek has a strong background in solid mechanics and finite element modelling and implementation, as well as a strong interest in multi-physics modelling and analysis. The candidate should have good skills in the English language, an affinity for writing scientific articles, and the ability to conduct research both independently and in collaboration with team members of the university involved in the project.
