This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most reputable and financially stable companies in the Hosuton area. The Reservoir Engineering Advisor is a key role on the subsurface team - Exploration & Development - Gulf of Mexico Deepwater project. This position must have expert knowledge of reservoir simulation on several assets to optimize their long term value. This position will be responsible for determining the reserve distributions, production profiles and budgets. Based in Houston, there may be some minimal domestic travel. This position requires hands on reservoir engineering experience, concentrating on reservoir simulation and a strong understanding of geo-modeling and the ability to run dynamic models for forecasting and history matching. The ideal candidate will be proficient in running the Eclipse simulator and possess a strong understanding of new field and brown field deepwater developments and operations. 5 years of simulation experience in the oil and gas industry is a requirement. Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering is a minimal education requirement, advanced degree a plus.
