to complement our Subsurface Evaluation team. This team covers the
full hydrocarbon resource life-cycle from exploration to development,
providing our clients the technical basis for sound business decisions | |
As a Reservoir Geologist with PanTerra, you will provide integrated
reservoir studies on siliciclastic rocks. By carrying out core and log
based multi-well studies, you will establish sedimentological, diagenetic
and stratigraphic controls on reservoir quality variations. You will
combine petrophysical rock properties with sedimentological and
petrographic data to create facies models that provide the basis for
property modeling.
Depending on the scope of the project, you have the opportunity to
work with our in-house equipment such as SEM, CL and Fluid Inclusion
Microscopes. You will be working on international projects from clients
all over the world. Besides the technical part of the job, you will also be
involved in all aspects of project management and client communication

We are looking for candidates with the following background: - MSc or PhD in Geology or related science
- At least 3 years experience in clastic reservoir characterisation,
- preferably focussed on shallow marine and deltaic systems with
- background in ichnology
Knowledge of petrography and diagenesis in clastic rocks - Proficient in oral and written English
- Good communication and computing skills (statistical analysis,
- database software)
- Experience in sedimentology of carbonate rocks would be an
- advantage
