Principal Subsea Engineer – OILPPL372, Petroleum People

We have an opportunity with a fully integrated global E&P company who are developing exciting fields in the Asian sub-continent. This is due to under exploitation of the existing fields. In order to fully develop these fields the client has secured a fleet of semi-subs and DP Drillships. The company as a result are seeking to engage a Principal Subsea Engineer. The position is resident in Mumbai with visits to the drilling installations as required. The position exists to develop and implement Subsea Well Completions in deepwater. The objectives are to design and develop subsea completion plans and to achieve continuous improvement in Subsea Completion performance, ensuring that Subsea Completion run smoothly and in the cost effective way. The role is one of principal subsea engineers as well as mentor for Subsea Completion team. The position requires the candidate to have a minimum of 10 years experience as a Subsea Engineer, with exposure to deepwater (minimum 1000m). Experience with Horizontal X-Mas tree is essential.
