Description
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join a Middle-Eastern operator whose ambitious plans are backed up by significant levels of investment. Their mature offshore oil and gas fields have yielded significant long-term returns and on-going reinvestment and reinvigoration plans are expected to maximise future hydrocarbon production. This focus on EOR projects and field development has created a vacancy within a key asset team and I am looking to engage a Reservoir Simulation Engineer to take responsibility for dynamic model building within the next month.
The primary function of this role is to build, maintain and history match dynamic reservoir models, utilising all available static and dynamic data. Further responsibilities will include input into field development plans, reservoir surveillance, monitoring and forecasting production levels and acting as the reservoir engineering focal point within an integrated technical team. Applicants MUST have extensive experience using Eclipse 100 and 300 software and be able to demonstrate previous exposure to decline curve analysis, material balance, nodal analysis and well testing. SCAL and PVT experience will also be advantageous.
The successful candidate is expected to have 5-10 years of post-graduate experience building models for well-respected operating companies.
